WinDrawChem is a free chemical drawing package allowing for simple two dimensional drawing of chemical structures.  It is similar in function to the commercially available ChemDraw (CambridgeSoft) and allows reading and viewing of MDL Molfiles. 

WinDrawChem can read ChemDraw binary and text files, and drawing of chemical structures is made simple using WinDrawChem's inbuilt library of structures including amino acids and nucleic acids.

Once drawn, the software can also evaluate structures and conduct 1H and 13C NMR prediction.
