Geospiza FinchTV - DNA sequence trace viewer PDF Print E-mail

Geospiza FinchTV is a free DNA sequence trace viewer.  It allows users to easily load and navigate through entire DNA sequence traces through a simple to use interface.  We use FinchTV on day to day basis for viewing our commercially obtained and in house DNA sequencing data.  The interface allows for searching of the sequence and review of the predicted base profile by users.  It is simple to scroll through the data and scale it for better viewing.  Also FinchTV allows users to conduct BLAST searches against the sequence data.  File extensions from commonly used sequencer outputs are all recognised: .abi, .ab1, .abd and .scf.
